Our story
Founded by Julian Schlichtenmayer, a mechanical engineer and passionate sailor, Ocean-Spring Watermakers was born out of a simple truth discovered during an Atlantic round trip: onboard systems must be dependable, easy to maintain, and built for real-world challenges.
When your freshwater supply fails in the middle of the ocean, you don’t need complexity — you need confidence.
This became our guiding principle. Located in southern Germany, in the heart of the automotive and machine-building region, we design and build every system with that same standard in mind.
